Refund and Cancellation Policy
Rice Milling Experts provides professional services related to rice mill consultancy, engineering, project planning, fabrication, installation and turnkey rice milling project solutions.
Since our services are generally customized according to the specific requirements of each client and project, the following policy applies.
1. Consultancy Services
For consultancy services, any cancellation or refund request must be made before the consultancy work has started.
Once the consultancy, technical discussion, project planning or preparation of project-related documents has started, the amount paid may not be refundable.
2. Customized Project Services
Project-related services are often customized according to the client’s requirements.
Once work has started or resources, materials, manpower or services have been arranged for a project, cancellation may not be eligible for a full refund.
Any refund, if applicable, will be evaluated based on:
- Work already completed
- Materials purchased
- Labour and manpower costs
- Transportation costs
- Third-party expenses
- Administrative costs
- Other expenses already incurred
3. Advance Payments
Advance payments made for project work, fabrication, installation, consultancy or other customized services may be non-refundable once the work or procurement process has started.
The refund terms for a specific project may also be governed by the quotation, work order or written agreement signed between the client and Rice Milling Experts.
4. Cancellation by Client
If a client wishes to cancel a project or service, the cancellation request must be submitted in writing through email or other officially accepted communication.
Cancellation does not automatically guarantee a refund.
The refund amount, if any, will depend on the stage of work and expenses already incurred.
5. Cancellation by Rice Milling Experts
In exceptional circumstances, Rice Milling Experts may cancel or discontinue a service or project.
If any amount is refundable under the applicable agreement, the eligible amount will be assessed after deducting the value of work completed and expenses already incurred.
6. Delays Caused by the Client
Rice Milling Experts shall not be responsible for delays caused by:
- Delay in site readiness
- Delay in client approvals
- Delay in providing required information
- Delay in providing required materials or facilities
- Site access issues
- Payment delays
- Government approvals
- Force majeure events
Such delays may affect the project timeline and shall not automatically create a right to cancellation or refund.
7. Refund Processing
Where a refund is approved, the refund will generally be processed through the original payment method or another mutually agreed method.
The time required for processing may depend on the payment method and banking/payment service provider.
8. Non-Refundable Expenses
The following expenses may generally be deducted before calculating any eligible refund:
- Completed consultancy work
- Engineering and design work
- Fabrication work already completed
- Materials already purchased
- Transportation charges
- Labour charges
- Installation work already completed
- Third-party charges
- Administrative expenses
- Other approved project expenses
9. Project-Specific Terms
If a quotation, work order, agreement or other written document contains specific cancellation or refund terms, those terms shall apply to that particular project.
